UCT Youth Theatre Program
Union Community Theatre was created with a vision and that was to bring quality theatre to Union and it's surrounding Northern Kentucky Communities. It became very clear to us that an important part of our our communities is to bring these opportunities specifically to the youth of these communities. UCT Youth is only for ages 12-18. Our vision is to cast only those ages and that our stage crews will also be of those ages to provide an outlet for youth to explore the performance and technical aspects of theatre.
How to get involved:
What? A place for students grades 6-12 to come be in a production either as an actor or as a technician. Come to learn, come to join, come to have fun being part of a show! Shows will be performed 2-4 times for the public!
Who? Ages 12-18
When? Check the Upcoming Shows page as well as our Facebook and Cinstages.com for audition notices.
Where? As of currently, our home base is Ryle High School but we are always looking to expand to perform around our area.
How? Just show up to any audition date for UCT Youth Theatre. If you can, bring a headshot and resume. If you don’t have one, please bring what you can and follow audition guidelines. Our News Page will always have info up to date.
What if I’m younger than 6th grade? No problem. We only set these age limits because of safety and for parents. Some UCT shows will require children and youth ages 6-18 for productions, so make sure you keep an eye out for those too!
The Plan: We plan to produce second show, Suessical, in the Spring of 2013. JOIN OUR FACEBOOK page to stay linked in!
